How GriefShare Works
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now.
GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. Visit GriefShare website for additional information (www.griefshare.org) Watch this video to learn more about GriefShare:

Are you grieving the death of a spouse? Or know someone who is?
Your life has changed forever. The daily emotions and challenges can seem too hard to bear. Find help at a Loss of a Spouse seminar.
The 2-hour seminar features a video with practical, encouraging advice from counselors, pastors, and widowed men and women, followed by a small-group discussion time. You’ll learn what to expect in the days ahead, how to handle the loneliness, what to do with your spouse’s belongings, and how to find the strength to go on.
Everyone who attends receives a booklet with over 30 short readings on how to live with grief and eventually rebuild your life. Cost: $5.00.

When to Join a GriefShare Group
You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at the first or any session. Each is “self-contained” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the remaining sessions in the 13-week cycle.
