Please consider sharing your time and talent with our parish by participating in our music ministry program. We have many groups of differing styles and sizes and are sure to find the perfect fit for you. We have specific needs for singers or instrumentalists for some of our groups, but all volunteers are welcome. We are incredibly blessed and lucky at Holy Spirit to have so many amazing musicians who serve every week by providing music for all of our Masses. We would love to involve some new, confident musicians who would be excited about and interested in joining us for weekend Masses.

This group plays at the 5:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday evenings two to three times a month. If you are interested in sharing your gifts of voice or instrument at this mass, please contact us!
Rehearsal -2 to 3 times a month 4:30 p.m. on Saturday prior to mass.

The 9:30 a.m. Choir is a large group with over 60 active members. We have varied experience with member’s qualifications ranging from a simple “sing-along” capability to some with professional music backgrounds.
Our director, Andrea Frey holds a degree from Butler University, and is also the Holy Spirit Music Director.
We sing a variety of music from the Liturgical Mass parts, to traditional and contemporary Christian favorites. We strive to sing at the highest level possible, but are an active social group as well with monthly evenings of fun and fellowship as well as celebrations for Christmas and the end of the school year.
New members are always welcome. Reading music is helpful, but not a necessity. If you can sing a melody and harmony line in tune and would be interested in a fulfilling ministry of service to our parish, please join us!
Rehearsal - Every Wednesday evening through the school year from 7:00 to 8:30 Mass - 9:30 a.m. every Sunday through the school year, 2 Sundays a month June through August.

Spirit Song is the group that regularly plays at 11:00 mass. We are comprised of vocals, piano, 2 acoustic guitars, bass guitar, percussion and occasional flute and violin. Our group plays a mix of traditional and contemporary church music. We enjoy worshiping through music and sharing our music with the congregation11:00 mass - 2 to 3 times per month
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m.

The music at our 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening mass is very contemporary and upbeat. With a mix that includes new music by contemporary Catholic composers, popular Christian praise and worship music, and the occasional addition of more traditional songs worked in new and revised ways, this group strives to enliven and energize our congregation with their spirit-filled worship.

Floating Times Music Ministry 5:30pm/8:00am/11:00am Music Group
Holy Spirit’s newest music group has been in existence for five years. Playfully called “the Floaters”, this groups serves as the primary back-up group to the main ensembles at the 5:30pm, 11:00am and 8:00am Masses.
Singing a wide-range of Catholic worship music, this group leans toward contemporary compositions that feature piano, drums, guitar and bass. The group is led by vocalist/pianist Terri Eakins and includes sopranos Donna Marino, Sarah Feid, and Jennifer Eakins, altos Kathy Feid and Mary Ann Callahan, tenors Dan Wahl and Steve Rothkopf, and bass Andy Garcia. Additional vocals are provided by guitarists Chuck Callahan and Michael Wallace and bass Dan Flinta. Percussion is handled by Peter Houghton. The group practices on Tuesday nights and is open to new members who can read music.
We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm at the church. We sing together approximately three times a month and we "float" among the 5:30/8:00/11:00 Masses as scheduled.For more information about our musical group, please contact Terri Eakins at (317) 201-6260 or [email protected].
