September 1 Update for Fall Session of Religious Education Pre-K through 6th Grade

Holy Spirit will offer grades Pre-K through 6 via homeschool materials with the exception of 2ndgrade. Since 2nd graders are preparing to receive First Communion, parents will have the option of sending
their child to Sunday 9:30 classes or home schooling. We will also host several virtual events for family catechesis online. The Diocese of Lafayette will be providing additional catechetical materials throughout the year. Our core curriculum will be the student text book and parent homeschool guide book. This is our plan for the fall, we’ll aim to resume in-person classes in the spring.

Please stop by the religious education office Monday-Friday, 9-3, to pick up your child’s textbook and theparent guide. If you would prefer to pick up materials before or after Mass, please email Julie at

Snack List

Because serious food allergies are on the rise, and many children are allergic to various foods, please check with your child’s teacher before purchasing any snacks or birthday treats for your class.  Our goal is for all children to be safe and included at Holy Spirit.
