Adult Confirmation

Adult Confirmation

Each year our diocesan bishop celebrates the sacrament of confirmation with baptized Catholics who, though active in their parishes, have not been confirmed.

Preparation for the sacrament will be scheduled with adult candidates.

Baptized Catholics who are at least 18 years old and who are active in the parish are eligible to participate. Each candidate will need to provide Holy Spirit with a copy of his/her baptism certificate. Confirmation sponsors must be confirmed Catholics in good standing who are at least 16 years old.  If possible, a baptismal godparent is encouraged to serve as the confirmation sponsor. Parents are not eligible to serve as sponsors for their own child.

To register for adult confirmation, please contact Shannon Schmidt in the Parish Life Center, 317-585-1257 or shannon@hspgeist.org.
